“It looked like the home had always been this way.”
— Catherine Boyd, Marshall White
The home
A period family home in Glen Iris with original detail and generous proportions. The rooms carried a lot of character, so the staging had to sit gently and let the architecture lead.
The Brief
Period, but never precious. The home should feel loved, not curated.

The Classic Period set suited it, rich timber and velvet, wool throws, aged brass on the lamps. A heavy dining table anchored the room with a single hand-thrown vessel at its centre.

We used a muted green accent through the home, picked up once in the entry, once in a bedroom, once in a piece of art, so the rooms tied together quietly.
The entry set the tone, a timber bench, a vase, and the green wall left to do the talking.
