An architect-designed home in Hawthorn East, walnut joinery and stone running through an open kitchen and living. The finishes were strong, so the furniture had to be just as considered.
The Brief
Match the quality of the architecture. Nothing that would look out of place in a home this carefully built.
Warm walnut chairs around a round stone table, a terracotta accent chair to lift the living room, and a fireplace left as the quiet centre of the space.

We kept the palette earthy, clay, oat, and timber, so the rooms felt grounded rather than cold.
The main bedroom looked out over the treetops, so we kept it sparse and let the view be the feature.
